SAVSIM CIC Networking Forum: A Night of Gratitude and Commitment

As Chairman of SAVSIM CIC, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to providing animal-assisted therapy programs for veterans with mental health and PTSD issues, and supporting veterans transitioning into anti-poaching initiatives, I had the distinct honour of hosting our first networking forum. This gathering was a heartfelt occasion for us to express our gratitude to the donors, sponsors, and friends who have been instrumental in our journey.

Alongside my co-host, Mick Betteridge MBE QGM, we welcomed our guests to a Military Private Members Club in Knightsbridge for an evening filled with appreciation and camaraderie. The event was a token of our appreciation to those who have attended our various activities, be it the Clay Day, the Golf Day, or those who have generously donated funds to support our mission.

At SAVSIM CIC, our mission revolves around two significant aspects: aiding veterans dealing with mental health challenges and PTSD through animal-assisted therapy and assisting veterans in transitioning to roles in anti-poaching programs. We are proud to support not only our local community but also a global network of reserves, zoological societies, and conservancies. The ultimate goal is to protect both animals and veterans, and we couldn't do it without the invaluable support of our donors and sponsors.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the companies and individuals who joined us for this special evening and have sponsored our events. Their dedication to our cause goes beyond financial support; it's a commitment to making a difference in the lives of veterans and the animals we aim to protect. We are thankful for their unwavering support and belief in the vision of SAVSIM CIC.

These gatherings not only allow us to express our gratitude but also offer an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and organisations who share our passion for supporting veterans and conserving our precious wildlife. Through these events, we strengthen our network, enabling us to expand our reach and impact.

As we move forward, the mission of SAVSIM CIC remains our guiding star. We are dedicated to providing the best possible support to veterans, whether through animal-assisted therapy programs or assisting them in their transition to anti-poaching roles. The global conservation community can count on us to continue our work in protecting wildlife and preserving our natural world.

To our donors, sponsors, and friends, we say "thank you" from the bottom of our hearts. Your support empowers us to make a meaningful change in the world, and together, we are on a path to create a better future for veterans and the animals they protect.

In the words of SAVSIM CIC, "Thank you for being the difference."

On behalf of the animals, we protect and the veterans we support.

Thanks

Joe
